Okay, this looks good to me. Is there any reason why you have taken only the positive root of 49? If you take the negative root of 49, which is minus 7, then you get 7x is equal to 7x minus 2x is equal to 3.5. Correct? So, can we work with that? What does that give you?

taking the negative root gives x=-7 which cant be possible as 0.5-x will become negative in the equilibrium eq here i got x = 3.5/9 and then i multiplied by 2 becoz i was supposed to find eqb conc of Hi Oh i think i got it 2x is the number of moles of HI i hvent diveded with the volume to get the conc dividing by 20 gives us option B
