This will delete the local user data for the flatpak. Then you will want to reinstall it.

Same thing happens if I attempt to launch via start menu
Did you install using flatpak?
Have you tried rebooting?
Yeah this is the flatpak
Ive rebooted, updated, and then rebooted again after that and each time its been the same
All my flats are up to date
What happens when you try running it from the command line?
Just curious if there is any error message we can see.
Not sure how to run flats from cli
Lemme grab the command, hold on.
flatpak run com.spotify.Client
Looks like an issue with the profile it's using. There is probably a way to clear data after uninstalling a flatpak.
Im kinda lost with the whole profile thing
Like my spotify account? Or profile is some flatpak thing?
Try
flatpak uninstall --delete-data com.spotify.Client

The local chrome profile it is using for the flatpak to launch the app.
Works now thank you!
Electron apps just use a chromium profile which is why it's giving that error.
Ahhh I see
Which is what Spotify is built on.
No problem! Glad I could help!
