Can't change nameservers before 60 days, really?!?!
I want to change to a different nameserver because cloudflare has an upload limit which basically renders my application useless. However I've gone to change the nameservers and it's giving me a message to say I can't because it's new. Am I being stupid or am I reallly stuck without an application for the next 60 days ðŸ˜

That's not changing your nameservers, that's changing your registrar
cloudflare has an upload limitThe upload limit only applies to the proxy, you can unproxy your record and use CF just for DNS and Registrar That 60 day restriction is an ICANN thing, after registration/transfer it's a "transfer lock"
I see part of it is me being dumb. I am assuming based on the article that a vultr nameserver wouldn't be allowed and I'll have to buy a domain from somewhere else:
you can't switch nameservers true, do you need to though? You can just setup unproxied a/aaaa/cname records and use CF as a dumb dns, you don't need to use any of the cdn/proxy features
Ah that seems to work fine, mainly I was using the domain name as it got me https on the page because I was having too much trouble configuring it myself. Does cloudflare have a quick way to get this or am I going to have to look on youtube?
if you don't want to use proxy, you'll have to use something else, Let's Encrypt/certbot is free and an easy alternative, integrates right into nginx/apache/etc and automates the process
