to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the users who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.all the Q are about Discriminant only but can't simplify the given equation, will cases be made since mod is thr ??
but how?
The only thing to keep in mind is that the root to your pseudo-quadratic must be negative or complex for the first one.
For the second one, both must be non-negative.
You can replace mod(x)^2 with x^2. So no problem there. Only problem is converting x^2=t.
okay thnku, i will retry
well when i replace and solve, then to nothing changes as such
x^4 + (1-2k)x^2 +k^1 -1 =0 and still,
if d>0 then k>5/4 , then how is (-infinity to -1) ki range coming for 1st part
can u tell if there will be cases formed or not, since modulus is thr ? woh -1 uss dusre case se aa raha hai maybe, but kaise idk
The two cases: i.) D<0 ii.) D>0 but roots are -ve
okayy got it
thank u very much🙏
