Setup Auto Reboot / Auto Backups for a curseforge modpack server

So I just created a server for the first time. I am hosting it on an oracle vm instance and it is running a modpack that I installed. The server is working, but I want to setup auto backups daily and reboots every 2 hours. I assume I need to setup a cronjob and use a bash script somehow, but I'm not exactly sure the best way to go about it and can't find much online. Does anyone do this and would be able to help me out?

consider installing a web panel like Pterodactyl. Their schedules feature allows you to do such things like run commands and restart the server What OS did you install please don’t tell me it was oracle Linux

:pain: You can try install crafty controller instead as afaik ptero doesn’t support oracle Linux but crafty does just not as feature rich and a subjectively worse ui
