queue timer penalty
hello! I have problems with my laptop that keeps on lagging and freezes whenever I play Valorant. then that makes it an afk penalty which is actually unfair. please fix this issue. I got 3 hours penalty just for my laptop troubles...

"I can only imagine the feeling of having crashes in the game and also being punished.
Currently, the AFK system actually makes no distinction between intentional abandonment and technical malfunctions. But there's a good reason for this - the server can only detect that someone has lost the connection and doesn't see why that happened. In that sense, you can just turn off your router or PC and it will just look like there is a power outage or game crash. We need to treat intentional and unintentional exits from matches equally, otherwise you can easily destroy matches without consequence and we both know how difficult it is to play 4v5.
On the other hand, our penalty structure tracks account behavior over time. This means that technical issues won't be penalized too harshly (if at all), but if you consistently leave games because of them, the penalty will become harsher over time.
All in all, as long as you aren't regularly marked as a leaver, you don't need to worry about this penalty"

I forgot to mention, that I am trying to livestream on Twitch... and that's when the laptop lags and freezes. but if I don't livestream, my gameplay works normally
this is an issue on your end then. support wont/cant do much about it

Well there isnt much information given, so if i had to guess, i´d say it´s somewhat of a hardware issue. Meaning your laptop not capable of playing AND streaming at the same time :Pepethink:
