A game installed via lutris from ubisoft connect will not detect gamepad on game mode but itll work on desktop mode
valhalla works on desktop but if i open the game directly on steam on game mode its not detecting the controls
just my device keyboard and touchscreen. Is there a fix?

Solved it! i changed the RUNNER OPTIONS from the games configuration to PROTON EXPERIMENTAL...it was on wine - ge BY DEFAULT, but now after chaning it its now responding 🙂

check if lutris runtime is on, if it is, turn it off and let me know if that fixes it for you
So i went to Game - configure - system options and set DISABLE LUTRIS RUNTIME and still is not detecting controls
I'll see if I can reproduce
i already removed xbox controller from wine control panel
according to some guides
