Paid Advertising spots on voting sites
To those who have paid for advertising slots on the popular voting sites have you seen any increase in players on your servers with these paid slot or not?

I haven’t paid for a spot in ~8 years, the uptick was noticeable if you had a graph but not really noticeable if you’re playing on the server.
These days short form content gives much better player returns imo (TikTok/YouTube Shorts)
I make shorts for my server. They ain't that good but i am still getting above 1-2k views on most of them. On a mostly new server i got 500 joins in 4 days from short form content. Again these results ain't that impressive but for a new and small community i would say they are a lot.
We even generated some revenue as well. Which was good!
