for determinant 1, since the first two rows are same so the determinant would be 0, similarily for second, in third one, since f(x),g(x),h(x), are polynomials of degree 2, then their third differentials would be 0, so the last row of third determinant is 0, hence the value of that determinant is 0. so the total value is 0.

Why not It can be any 2 degree polynomial so choose the simplest one

yo shall we revisit this once we do determinants? I agree with what thanos and nimay said here. the coefficient will be 1, 0, 0 (x2, x, c)
