Hi Hannah 🙂 On Windows, please use WSL as advised in https://twenty.com/developers/local-setup
Twenty - Local Setup
Mostly for contributors or curious developers
I’m using WSL….
Any method to change the slashes
Even though I changed the slashes, they revert to the original slashes when I run the
start front
command.I'm surprise that you path are refering to C:/
you should have unix path
could you place yourself in another folder (out of C: ?)
Please….
@Hannah you haven't answered my messages above 😉
Yea I did
And it throws me this error..
in what folder are you?
I don't see it on your screen
could you run:
pwd
node --version
yarn --version
?
Hi @Hannah, you should not be using sudo, this will lead to issues
I’m still encountering the same error.
Hi @Hannah, you have a permission denied error. This may be because you ran previous commands with
sudo
. Could you remove your twenty repository and follow again this documentation https://twenty.com/developers/local-setup. Only run with sudo
the ones using sudo
in the docWhen I wrote Yarn dependencies are mismatched and some of them are doesn’t provide any packages. I’ve installed the required packages and version.
@Hannah never seen these issue could you wipe your twenty folder and retry using the link provided by Thomas above (and don't use sudo!)
Still having the same issue!
Ok, we can setup a troubleshooting session over voice channel to help you setup the project, what timezone are you on?
Closing as this is not moving forward and seems to be an isolated issue. Feel free to re-open if needed 🙂
