you're using network storage, if you save your files in /workspace it will be saved and not be lost
So terminate it, after saving your files
(runpod doesn't allow stop pod on pods with network storage)
ok, thanks, ow can i check whether my files are saved?
and i guess files are saved by default to the network storgae?
If its in /workspace its saved
I don't know about your files, how do you edit them?
or what files are they
spun up a fast stable confusion pod of the template
after enabling the network storage
fast stable confusion?
i would like to create soemthing like an image, so i can continue where i was yesterday, i guess my terminating and not destroing the network storage i need to spin a new pod tomorrow so it links to my newtork storage?
sorry for my noobness, started today in the runpod world...:-)
all good just clarifying so i can help you better
Yes that can work
terminate your pod only, keep your network storage
yes choose your existing network storage
save your files / install your programs / make your programs use /workspace for saving or reading files
can i browse that network storage in a way??
Hmm like browsing the content? only from pods and serverless for now
To see what network storage do you own check on your Runpod website > storage
serverless is from /runpod-volume not workspace
ok, will terminate the pod, keep the storage and spin a new pod tomorrow...keep my fingers crossed..:-)
yeah
alright
hey, just curious, do you know the reason why there is no stop button for pods that using network volume?
In short because there's not really a great reason for it to exist
Because stop is like to save money when you're not using the instance right
hmm, since you suppose to save everything to network volume, there is no need to pause it, I think that make sense, TY
Yeah it's the same of terminating then
Because no pod storage anymore while turned off if you imagine it
