valorant agent progression

im account level 23 but none of my agents are even tier 1. Do i have to buy them with kingdom credits or how do you level them up??

you have to buy the tiers with kingdom creds to get rewards and stuff but i miss the old days when we just earned them by playing😔

or i think there is a way to have the xbox game pass and should be able to unlock them like that for free
