Error during installation
It says there is an error during the installation of the payload:

Then your next step would be to try and install Fedora Silverblue/Kinoite if that fails with the same error then it's something that only Fedora can fix. If Silverblue/Kinoite installs then you can try and rebase your install to Bazzite.

Getting around the "Code 1" error in Bazzite and other Atomic Deskt...
In this guide we'll be removing the invalid fedora entry in the efi partition to get Bazzite and other atomic desktops to install after attempting to reinstall them. (fixed the audio)
Edit: Note that you might also get this error if you previously installed Fedora workstation or Nobara and you have kept your existing efi partition on the disk.

No, there was windows, but i completely removed every partition during install
I have already looked at the tutorial, the problem is that there is no EFI folder
For reference
this is probably the same issue as me: https://github.com/ublue-os/bazzite/issues/1248

Describe the bug I have tried different layout (automatic and manual), but every time I get the following error when performing the install: ostree container image deploy --sysroot=/mnt/sysimage --...
but i'm not on a legion go
here the solution was to check the media, i did that and it passed
OK, I had the same issue when I reinstalled Bazzite, removing /boot/efi/EFI/fedora fixed it for me. Have you checked the media? EDIT: Sorry, missed the info below the link. Hmm, anything in the logs during install?
i saw the python error
only that
couldn't scroll up in the install terminal tho
You can switch to another terminal with Ctrl+Alt+F2 after the install has failed and check the log files in /tmp.
i used Ctrl + Alt + F6
logs in /tmp is very long tho
there are a lot of warning lines about the generic 'bluetooth' display
Hmm no EFI folder. Could you check that you have CSM disabled in your BIOS, if you have "UEFI with CSM, try switch it to UEFI only", it would explain why it's not creating a EFI partition.
CSM should be disabled
ok, it is
it's like it fails before creating it
You could try manual partitioning
i did
i created the 3 partitions
and even tried putting the EFI one on the end of the disk
It's a long shot but try checking the Checksum of the ISO that you downloaded and make sure it matches with the one of the Bazzite site. Probably not that but still worth checking
i checked with the tool
and it said nothing
Ok... hmmm you could try install Fedora Silverblue/Kinoite and see if you get the same issue in the installer. If you don't, then you can just rebase to Bazzite
i'll try
the problem is that it is my friend trying to install it
and he does not have another pc
i'll try using curl and tar to force put an iso into the usb
looking at logs i found this: Failed to invoke skopeo proxy method finishpipe: remote error: write |1: broken pipe
I can double check but I think I get the failed to invoke skopeo error on successful installs.
yeah, but the install stops there
here after the crash
no more logs
