Question Regarding Cheaters.
There is this guy that goes to my school and tries to promote cheats, and I was wondering what he was selling because he keeps bringing it up almost everyday, and I have just recently learnt that valorant cheaters can actually bypass Hardware ID bans, then they come back to playing. The guy that was selling this said that if you play legit for 4 months (average hwid ban period) and then go back to your old hardwares, it won’t get you in any sort of trouble. Now my question is
- Can cheaters actually just play legit using this id changer and then revert it in 4 months to be safe??? Cuz if so that’s not a good punishment from riot
(I do not indulge in cheating activities, it’s just a doubt of mine that I found no answers to in google)

You can't revert your hwid
You can only keep on changing it
It's impossible to make a better ban system
HWID (As far as I know) Are the best and most accurate and most serious ban that could be placed
I don't consider a hardware ban as powerful as just getting your account deleted. That's the main punishment is getting your account wiped. Think of it you get wiped and you lose not just all of the time you put into the count but the money you've also put into it.

Does HWID differ from serials, because I’ve seen sources on google (idk if I’m allowed to share the source), it says a windows reset using usb should do the trick

Oh and one last thing, off topic but does a windows reset clean all viruses and malware?

Most of the time. But depending on what actual malware you get it could be persistent after a full windows reinstall. Like by getting access to the actual bios, but those are decently rare enough where you shouldn't assume that.

You can revert it
@kenumia You can revert ur HWID by clearing ur CMOS then flashing ur bios twice
it will normally revert series to default
Valorant Cheats cannot bypass bans them self
It's just a spoofer that changes the device serials which vanguard logs allowing you to play (although things such as TPM/HVCI etc will pr even ta lot of these spoofing software

But because of people selling these devices it causes issues

It changes parts of your HWID this is why it's required when bypassing a vanguard ban
