start by doing a normal profiler
/spark profiler start
Spark Profiler
Spark can be used to see why your server or client is lagging.
Users can share a spark report via
/spark profiler start --timeout 300
which creates a report after 5 minutes. The spark report is useful in debugging why your server is lagging, so ideally you should always provide one while asking for support.

^^ that command
when should i stop it
the commands stops automatically
if you add --timeout 300
after 5 minutes
ok
also windows makes profiling more pain because it doesnt support async profiling
eloborate pls
theres not much to elaborate
windows just doesnt support async profiler
so results are harder to read
and can make no sense to most users
ill switch to linux
which distro
do u recommend
i use ubuntu but debian etc is fine aswell
i use windows so i can connect with rdp
its easier
rdp is also insanely insecure, is it atleast local only?
dw
its not open to wan
in rdp port
and i personally wouldnt use a gui enviroment, like ubuntu desktop etc, but still better than windows
oh yeah wont dw
ssh is my glorious king
uh the switch will take a while im supposing
can i set things up and ping you for
troubleshooting afterwards?
no need to ping
will switching to linux
have a boost in performance
less overhead but probably not much
depends on a lot of things
