Any way for me to be able to choose the dotnet sdk arch

Another project that i contribute to currently does not officially support arm64 so i need the x64 version of the dotnet sdk for it. However other personal projects i would like to be able the arm64 dotnet and build using it. However i noticed that even though it apparently sucessfully installs the dotnet --info command only seems to see the x64 binaries. Searching online people are suggesting to symlink the directory which i dont really wanna do as it would override the dotnet version for my other project Anyway i can have "both" and choose which dotnet to use (at least just in rider)
