If you were to spoof to the location of the ditto immediately and it were too far away, you would most likely get detected and get a softban. The softban would basically make it so as soon as you try catching the ditto, it would fail and run away. However, if you were to spoof to a location with lots of dittos in the area, and then waited the appropriate amount of time to avoid the softban, you would be able to teleport to one of the dittos in the same area and you wouldn't have to wait very long after teleporting since the amount of time you have to wait depends on the distance traveled.
You can look up a table on how long is needed to wait in order to avoid the softban.
The likelyhood of your account getting banned however, while it is still possible would be pretty low. Most likely the most that would happen would be a shadow ban, and that would still be pretty unlikely on your first jump.
The shadow ban would effectively only allow you to log into your account but not see any pokemon spawning.
Even with all of this, spoofing is never 100% safe and doing it without having a jailbroken or rooted device is the least safe.
Non jailbreak ios devices is very risky. It doesn't matter how long you use. If you logged in, it's detected.
Better you have some spoofer from #🔄│trading spoof to you and trade you a ditto
i have a ditto if needed 🙂
its for the mew challenge so id have to catch it
