Advice on matrices and determinants.
Currently a JEE student, but mostly tend to focus on visualization in problems. It is hard to visualize matrices in many questions. How should one go on about completing the chapter?

U have to understand different concepts u do on m&d and then solve questions based on it
U can't complete the chapter just by understanding the concept
I had problems with this chapter
I had solved tones of questions and pyqs of m&d. That's how I completed it
Thanks. But the major issue is the lack of formation of a 'picture' in most of the questions.
It’s not you @SirLancelotDuLac
It’s linear algebra. It’s not like calculus or geometry or anything else in mathematics. Going by it’s name, it sounds simple. linear and algebra. But it’s not like that at all. It’s tedious and conceptually hard. It gave me nightmares when it was a compulsory course in my 3rd year, same for all my batchmates.
Matrices and Determinants is just the first step towards Linear Algebra, take it slow, make sure you understand everything, and as @lim me → ∞ said, lots of questions. You might not be able to see a picture because there might not be one. Make a concept map for the chapter and organise what you’ve learned, this is all about analytics and calculations. It ofc varies person to person, but majority, i guess, isn’t good with Linear Algebra.
Thanks a lot for critical advice.
