Dont use stretched pls 🥲
Why
I dont want to offend a hord of stretched players right now
xd
it has no meaning to play stretched
in most cases
underlining MOST xd
Why do u want to play stretched
I feel better aim
But in short is there a way to do it without getting banned
aight
i dont think anyone can say at 100 % certainty that true stretched is not banable or other way
Its really like a gray zone. Some people claim it is bannable and it happend to them, and some say its not 😑
But even pros use it
Yeah they do, but im not sure if they do it by in game settings or using a third party software
for how far i know 3rd party software is not allowed invct
+ most of the pro's use it since they got used to it playing for while back in the days when it had advantage in cs
How can you do it in game settings ?
I asume u want to do it cause u want to rank up and get better and better. But the stretched screen is not going to make u a better player instantly. But hey ur welcome to prove me wrong.
Settings - Video settings
If you can do this, then why does everyone say about using Nvidia control panel and changing settings and blah blah blah
Because in valorant changing in game res will only stretches the hud/ui and crosshair.
Exactly ^
So that wouldn’t benefit pros tho?
With like nvidia control panel etc etc. they mean 'true' stretched
And what does true stretch stretch that in game settings doesn’t
to stretch the game and extend the fov
and you have to use a 3rd party program to get like the bars etc gone
As far as I know, there is no scientific benefit or human benefit for using a stretched resolution. Will give you is making the target visually thicker. your sensitivity may also feel faster because of the more pixels on the horizontal axis. One of the main cons is that true stretch res is only available in window mode which will add input latency
didnt know even windowed mode adds latency another reason not to go stretched
true stretched makes your fov smaller
which i meant ?
you said extend fov
idk i interpreted it as extend the range of fov
idk if you meant something different
also true stretched cuts out the edges of your screen
so if an enemy is right at the edge of ur screen, you won’t see them if you’re using true stretched while people on native res can see them
Ow no no, with like making everything wider but with what you said cutting the edges
so like horizontally extend fov
but cut sides xd
The only reason i would say its reasonable to go true stretched is if your used to it from back in the days in 1.6
i dont think theres a clear answer but i feel like it could be bannable
