Server pack or client pack

Hi, aside from the client side mods, is there really a difference between the two? I plan on using this https://docker-minecraft-server.readthedocs.io/en/latest/types-and-platforms/mod-platforms/auto-curseforge/ but apparently it downloads the client pack instead and I'm afraid it'll differ from the server pack (server configs?) .

You can specify the curseforge file ID. The server pack has a different file ID to the client pack

oh I didn’t see that the server pack & the client pack are usually different. The server pack lacks client side mods that would break the server on boot, and usually has configs that the client does not. so you’d have to use their client mod blacklist thingy

client side mods isnt too big of an issue since the image has built in filter. My only concern is will the server config make a big difference in gameplay?
