A way to ignore Mojang suspensions?
My friend recently got suspended from Mojang because they said "fuck" and were reported by a transphobe who was later banned for transphobia. Does anyone know if there is a way to ignore Mojang suspensions so I can have full control over who can and can't join my server? I know there's a way to disable chat reporting and I've enabled it now but it would be nice to allow my friend who is now suspended to still join my server

Liberate your server from the chat-reporting bourgeoisie! The best paper chat report disabler this side of the Mississippi
however make sure you enable the popup ^
if you don't enable the popup, then you're against the mojang MUG
does it allow suspended players to join
oh
if the players are already suspended
then no
afaik anyways
I know there's a way to disable chat reporting and I've enabled it now but it would be nice to allow my friend who is now suspended to still join my server
A client side mod can bypass the sanction thingy i think
do you know if there is one or do you mean hypothetically
Hypothetically
No way to get around it iirc
Either you make the server offline mode if possible or wait
sucks, i've just let my friend borrow an alt for now, its fucked up that mojang can disrupt private connections
It’s their game they can do whatever they want with it unfortunately so
yeah i guess but very poorly executed
It can bypass the screen so you can play cracked/offline.
But that won'take Mojang hand you a session token for you account. You can not force them to do that.
is there not a way to use offline mode for one player only?
Maybe. I do not know about that, only that you can not solve this client side by design. You have to do it in the way you are describing.
i see
$30 is how u bypass it
not helpful
well thats the only option apart from offline mode
Fuck isn’t bannable btw, your friend might want to check what they got banned for so they don’t get banned again.
If you do that, you’d need a login plugin as well, and also to abandon the regular auth, and make a custom auth soloution and then make a bypass for that specific ign
If it’s just a private server at that point I’d just say making the entire server offline and adding a auth plugin
the op mentioned transphobe so im pretty sure they were talking something about trans and some not happy gaming words were typed, but they are really trying to pull the "i only said fuck" card
they were talking about their villager breeder, saying "why won't these villagers fuck", and got banned for sexual content (the reporter announced it in chat so we know it is this)
it's a temporary week-long suspension
if it’s a week? honestly either just wait it out.
You can spare an alt if you have one for a week or use offline mode with an auth plugin temporarily
i've given them my alt to use, it's just frustrating
Yeah. I get your frustration.
Better than a month+ ban
yeah
they've done that already, waiting to hear back, but thank you
Might be a mistake on their part, because yeah I think that’s probably mild enough?
So basically giving them more money??
Why would you after you literally get false banned lmao
they have every right to ban u in their own game
Well yes
But you shouldn't be giving them more money
What's the guarantee that they won't ban you again immediately after they find out you're evading
Just don’t be dumb in the chat in a server that has chat signing very simple
The bigger lesson here is that if you disagree with Mojang's latest policies, then disable chat reporting on your servers. While relatively rare, there are plenty of examples out there of players catching bans for behavior that was perfectly acceptable to the community they were playing in. As a pretty well-known former staff member of a relatively large community, I have a lot of haters out there, and after my initial experience with Mojang reporting back in 1.19.1, I will never play on a server with it again.
