They have given different cross sections Nvm you will get same area they what they ment in the question was temperature at diffrent points of cross section

Yeah exactly Is the answer 0.5 I think I got it If I consider the same area to be constant which is true and the heat flowing is obviously same for both A and B since they are connected in parallel then I can use {Thermal current}{thermal resistance} = temperature difference Here usually current analogy is used Thermal resistance is( change in l)/KA and it becomes just about constants
