Ground state is n=1 , right ? So to move up u have to go to n=2 I.e exciting the electron to 2nd shell That's why it is first excited state

ground state मतलब n equal to 1, एहला excited state मतलब n equal to 2, दूसरा excited state मतलब n equal to 3, इस ज़्यास सिम्पल है अच्छा, ज़्यास लिए घर पे तुम बोलते हो की ground floor, first floor, second floor, बढ़ कितनी stories हैं से three story building, बढ़ it has two floors, ground, one and two, that's all there is to it.
