Resolution Question

Hello, I am using Bazzitte on my framework laptop 16 and I can't seem to play games at the displays native resolution. When I start up both starfield and cult of the lamb the max display resolution is only 1600 by 1050. I checked my windows machine and confirmed that both games support higher resolutions. Is there a way to get the games to recognize the higher resolutions or is this working as I tended? Attached are pictures I took if the lower resolutions. Thanks for any help you can provide.
