How do I learn inorganic chem?
There's sm stuff to learn by heart that it seems overwhelming
I know pneumonics and codes help but the sheer volume of stuff in d&f, p-block and co-ordination compounds is just...
And yeah I'm lucky cuz half of the syllabus is deleted but still
NEET student btw

to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the users who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.Read and read. One more way is that remember the compound by their uses. Such as fitkari means potash alum used to disinfect water and so on. Like helium used in weather ballons. It will be easy.
@Emperor Someone
Reading NCERT + making your own notes helps the best. Which grade are you in now btw?
And yea solve EVERY question at the end of the book and solved examples in between too (relevant to the syllabus)
I'm having more trouble with like, remembering orders and values and stuff
like the colors of transition metal ions, for example
I'm in 12th rn
the thing is, I keep on forgetting stuff, I don't really like mucking facts up but for inorganic that seems to be the only thing I can do
Try to relate the facts !
practice makes perfect :)
ive literally just begun 11th inorganic and its giving me headache already... i am unable to solve questiosn cuz i CANT REMEMBER THE 18 DIFFRENT CHARECTERISTICS ON WHCIH ELEMENTS HAVE CLASSIFICATION
P block is giving most pain
imo p-block is a bit easier after the deletions and stuff (if you're neet esp)
everything is related and there's a comparatively limited no. of things to learn by heart
D&F tho-
they'll have to do that for adv (their role is jee so i am assuming that they're prepping for adv)
mhm...especially for inorganic, i feel, because everything else is more or less intuitive, you just have to revise once in a while
yeah makes sense
The reduced portions are more than hard enough, I have no idea how I'd handle everything together 🥲
