from what i have read about this ( this process is called amine inversion or umbrealla inversion ) the lonepair basically changes its orientation in the quantumn realm by quantumn tunnelling through the nitrogen atom without realling having to move in a classical sense you can imagine it simply by imagining a ball ( lone pair ) going through the nitrogen atom while the ligands flip this process is similar to that when the unbrealla in heavy rainfall and storm like situation flips above
