Legion Go and Bazzite
First day moving to Bazzite on my LeGo.
I have a few questions.
1. I noticed steam states there is an update but every time I update and restart nothing happens. Am I not able to do steamos updates via bazzite?
2. My back buttons on my Legion go are mapped already. Is there a way to clear them? It causes conflict in games. Even if I map the back buttons to something else the game registers the new binds 50% of the time.
3. I also noticed if I shut down my LeGo. It looks as if it's booting up again and checking for updates? I'm assuming that Bazzite OS looks for updates when you shut down?

So I see no options in HHD that allow me to remove the default binds that are already there. Am I missing something? I can change it to an xbox controller or duel sense. The problem still persists which is that The back buttons are already mapped by default and are conflicting with steam.
I have exact same issues.
Back buttons seems to be hard binded. M3 is super annoying.
When I try to shut it down it restarts, an then shutting down.

I think you are seeing the boot screen on shut down and thinking it’s rebooting. Linux normally shows the boot screen during a normal shutdown. If you were to hit escape during that, you would see that it is stopping services.
Having created custom bindings for a game as utterly hopeless with a controller as Dragon Age: Origins, I can assure you that you can bind the back buttons to whatever you want, per game.
Hey everyone. I figured it out.
I reset the controller in steam. This essentially makes the controller unusable because it unbinds everything, but removes the back button binds also. Then I go to HHD, switch to another controller, then switch back to the Xbox elite. Steam detects it again with all the binds set back. Problem solved!
Yes some of the back buttons are still hard bound in the steam menu. But now when I play a game I have no more conflicts. I think this issue is lingering from when I had those key bound with legion space before moving over to Bazzite.

Use the factory reset controller option in hhd and it will remove them
I did that as well. I can't be too sure which of the options was the one that did it but I will say that when I completely cleared the bind on steam and factory resetted on HHD. Everything now works 🙂
