frame drops

whenever I'm in a game and sometimes during the homepage animation my frames drop to single digits from around 50. I have done everything the bot says for framerate and it doesn't help the issue the framerate was fine before and not dropping but recently it has been dropping with nothing I know of changing.

Sudden frame drops can be very frustrating, especially if everything was working fine before. Since you've already tried the usual framerate troubleshooting steps, here are a few specific suggestions: 1. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes a clean install of the latest drivers can resolve unexpected frame drops. 2. Check Background Processes: Make sure no other programs are consuming too much CPU/GPU power. This includes antivirus scans, background updates, or any other intensive tasks. 3. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lower your in-game settings, especially effects like shadows and textures. Sometimes an update can reset or change graphical settings unexpectedly. 4. Power Settings: Ensure your PC is set to 'High Performance' mode in power options. 5. Temperature Check: Overheating can cause throttling. Use a monitoring tool to check your CPU and GPU temperatures. 6. Repair Game Files: Use the Riot Client to repair your VALORANT game files. If none of these solutions help, you might want to submit a ticket to Riot Games support for further assistance.
