to close the thread when your doubt is solved. Mention the users who helped you solve the doubt. This will be added to their stats.1,4 dichloro seems to make sense
ol you can put at the c 1, 4 OR - 2, 3 (same as 5, 6 so we ignoring that).
actually 2, 3 is also same :D so the only thing you are left with is
1,4 dichloro cyclohexane-2-ol
OR
1,4 dichloro cyclohexane-1-ol (which is same as if you put the OH on the 4th carbon, nomenclature wise)
so this gives the answer as 14?
the answer is 24 sir
4,4 dichloro cyclohexan-1-ol

If you get a dichloro compound, like a, what's that called? That's called a geminal thingy. Is that stable or is that not very stable? I mean, yeah, especially on cyclohexane, sorry.

Yeah, that's my cue to not try organic questions in general, I think. Thanks Walmart, Walter White, for giving us the answer.

हाँ इसलिए मैंने वो 1,2,4 बोला क्योंकि जैमिनल बोलता है जैमिनल डाइलेट्स नहीं पहले स्टेगुड़ी है
