The error you're encountering (VAN9003) indicates that VALORANT's anti-cheat system, Vanguard, requires Secure Boot to be enabled on your system. To resolve this issue, you need to enable Secure Boot from your BIOS settings. Hereβs a simplified guide:
1. Check BIOS Mode:
- Ensure your system is using UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS. If it's in Legacy BIOS, switching to UEFI can cause your system to be unbootable without reconfiguring.
2. Access BIOS:
- Restart your PC and enter your BIOS setup by pressing a specific key (usually
F2
, F10
, DEL
, or ESC
) during startup. Refer to your PC manufacturerβs guide, if necessary.
3. Enable Secure Boot:
- In the BIOS menu, find the Secure Boot option, typically located under the βSecurityβ or βBootβ tab.
- Enable Secure Boot.
4. Save and Exit:
- Save your changes and exit the BIOS setup. Your PC will reboot.
