Low frame rates in VALORANT can be due to various factors. Here are some steps to troubleshoot: 1. Update Drivers: Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. 2. Adjust In-Game Settings: Lower your graphics settings in VALORANT, such as resolution, shadow quality, or disabling VSync. 3. Close Background Programs: Close any unnecessary applications running in the background to free up system resources. 4. Check for Overheating: Monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures to ensure they aren’t overheating, which can throttle performance. 5. Game Mode and Power Settings: Enable 'Game Mode' in Windows settings and ensure your power plan is set to 'High Performance'. 6. Check for Updates: Ensure that Windows and VALORANT are fully updated. 7. Scan for Malware: Run a full scan to ensure there are no malicious programs affecting performance. 8. Reinstall VALORANT: As a last resort, try reinstalling the game to resolve any corrupted files. For persistent issues, you can open a ticket with Riot Games support for further assistance.
