Freezes after agent selection, doesnt let me switch to other programs

sometimes after agent selection (and during agent selection animation) my game freezes, it doesnt let me switch to any other window or even open task manager to close valorant so i can restart it, eventually i have to just restart my entire pc forcefully, this has cost me many penalties and i am barely even playing ranked now, is there a way to fix this? here are my specs: i5 11th gen rtx 2060 16gb ram i do not use any other programs in background except for discord and brave for music. and i have also noticed this bug where my team and party voice chat automatically turns off for sometime then automatically gets fixed. this happens multiple times in a single match and even in lobby.
