is it possible to have others remotely access/turn on a minecraft server from a windows computer?

the caption might have been worded wrong in some way but, my friend recommended this idea to me and i instantly thought of a solution. initially my friend recommended to me that we make an email all to share an aternos server so we can all access it whenever we want, because we live in different timezones, naturally with me having a good pc i said, "Why don't you guys just run the server off my computer". We agreed, but now I have to think; is it possible for people to be able to access the server when my computer is off? Will they be able to turn it on and play the server or is that completely too far fetched? I could leave my computer on 24/7 with the server on but is it possible to have them turn it on? Or access it some other way?

You could set-up remote desktop on your PC for them to connect if you have Windows 10/11 Pro Any version of Windows works for the connecting side

Download and install Crafty Controller, then port forward port 8443 and your friends can remotely control the via the browser using your ip:8443 Doesn’t turn on the actual computer but allows for the server to be controlled remotely

You could also use chrome remote desktop. You can access your computer from any device that supports a internet browser (phones work) Thought, it gives the user on the side FULL control of the desktop.
