Vuestorefront and Odoo
Has anyone successfully gotten vuestorefront for odoo to work in recent weeks/months? https://github.com/vuestorefront-community/odoo
Running into several dependency issues and saw on Discord that the open source versions are not working well, if at all, at the time being. Before I dig into this further, looking to see what your experiences are working with this recently, for Odoo.

Hey @August , I got it up and running over the weekend weirdly enough as I'm looking to roll a new integration/implementation out
Tbh the Odoo integration is a little all over the place, e.g. VSF/Alokai SDK development has far outpaced the open source integrations so it's still on version 2 it seems
@Rich Curious if you have any suggestions you’d recommend for front end instead of VSF? I’ve also looked at shopinvader and Shopify, wonder if you’ve looked at those solutions?

Yep @Rich , specifically for odoo integration in backend. There are some connectors between Shopify and odoo
Haven't looked at any other solutions tbh @August , I really like vsf and what the open source community has done to achieve integration between both systems. The flexibility is endless which I'm not sure will be replicable with other solutions
@Rich Curious of your thoughts on just using Odoo’s built in website as well?
For a small store it would be fine I'm sure, but for large, high order/transaction volume stores decoupling front and backend is essential
What do you think is the appropriate volumes that odoo website could handle without issues? It’s a new store, so definitely not expecting high volumes from the start.

Hi @August and @Rich we have 2 implementations using SDK and we are replacing some Shopify shops as their fees grow a lot as sales grow. Project needs some reorganisation so that other persons can better find how to make it work and we also are working on marketing resources. I will soon publish a Video on how to make the Alokai boilerplate run. I will publish on twitter and LinkedIn. Meanwhile, if you want I can schedule a call and show you how it works.
