It sounds like you need to switch from Legacy BIOS to UEFI mode to enable Secure Boot and resolve your VALORANT issue. Before proceeding, please back up your data, as this process can risk data loss if not done correctly. Here’s a step-by-step guide: 1. Check your current mode: Open System Information (Win + R, type "msinfo32") and see if it says BIOS Mode: Legacy. 2. Convert disk from MBR to GPT: - Open Command Prompt as an Administrator. - Type: mbr2gpt /convert /allowFullOS and press Enter. This converts your disk to GPT. 3. Enter BIOS/UEFI settings: - Restart your computer and enter BIOS/UEFI by pressing the appropriate key during startup (commonly F2, F12, DEL).
4. Enable UEFI Mode: - Locate the Boot or Boot Mode settings. - Find the setting to switch from Legacy/CSM to UEFI and save changes. 5. Enable Secure Boot: - Within BIOS/UEFI, locate the Secure Boot option and enable it. 6. Save and Exit: Save changes and exit BIOS/UEFI. Your system should now boot in UEFI mode with Secure Boot enabled. If you encounter issues, refer to the relevant support article: Riot Games Support.
