To ensure VALORANT runs on your GPU instead of your CPU, follow these steps:
1. For NVIDIA Users:
- Right-click on your desktop and select
NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Go to Manage 3D settings.
- Select the Program Settings tab.
- Click Add and find VALORANT (VALORANT.exe) on the list.
- Under Preferred graphics processor, select High-performance NVIDIA processor.
- Click Apply.
2. For AMD Users:
- Right-click on your desktop and select AMD Radeon Settings.
- Navigate to System then Switchable Graphics.
- Find VALORANT.exe in the list of applications.
- Change the setting to High Performance.
- Click Apply.
Additionally, make sure your laptop's power settings are set to High performance to avoid any power saving measures that might force it to use integrated graphics.
