Firefox: Errors with twitch and some video decoding
Any suggestions what website to check codecs and such and find out what is currently supported? I went from flathub firefox to fedora one as it works a lot better with kerberos which I need for work
Screenshots attached of the error. about:config has
media.ffmpeg.vaapi.enabled=true
and media.av1.*
stuff on default (true)Solution:Jump to solution
Codecs are the reason we ship flathub Firefox, they should be fully supported there

I'm not sure of a website that lists what is or isn't supported by your particular browser
oh no :poi_notlike:
Maybe I should just have a separate browser for work at this point..
Can you even have multiple different flatpaks with the same app id?
You could install the RPM in Fedora distrobox
If that has what you need
Would also keep everything separate, and you can do a separate home directory
And if you need the codecs, you can install those in the box from RPM fusion
Should check all of your boxes
Yeah probably. Gives me a reason to get Firefox Dev Edition too
I'll just try some more. Was there a just command for installing flatpaks modified by Bazzite?
we dont modify flatpaks, there is an ujust for installing the default installed flatpaks when you rebase from kinoite/silverblue as we replace some system applications with flatpaks, let me dig it up
ujust _install-system-flatpaks
Ah thanks
also twitch works fine for me
Didn't at all for me with the fedora remote flatpak
i also use this for twitch, gives me a proper fullscreen with chat
