Looking for Wide Brown Bluchers under $200

Finding personal style, somewhere in the realm of academia for work/going out, americana for casual days. Looking for a brown everyday business casual type wide shoe that's a little more dressed up than mocs. Personally don't think I'd look good in split toes or thicker soled shoes (5'6" w/ wide feet) but other than that if anyone has any recommendations that'd be appreciated! Also if what I'm looking for is dated or if I'm looking for the wrong type of clothing please let me know!

It's just in your head Your height has no effect on looking good in a normal style of footear Neither is foot width. No one can visually spot the difference between narrow, normal or wide feet

honestly brown split toes or brown loafers would be my pick not sure of your budget/locale to give any concrete recs but gh bass or meermin are good budget options, allen edmonds and alden are better if you have the money/time

East coast US & $200ish, was definitely looking at meermin earlier at their black oxfords, they were just lacking in Bluchers currently. I've got a pair of brown loafers now, not sure where from off top of my head & they're great, my current formal shoe, was trying to branch out a little more.

what kind of loafer? depending on it the "branching out" could be to a tassel or kiltie style, or to suede instead of leather a tyrolean shoe could also slot in here - paraboot michaels are a meme at this point, but something in the vein of a gh bass wallace or clarks wallabees would fit within your budget
