To enable Secure Boot, follow these steps:
1. Check Boot Mode:
- Ensure your system is in UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS. Secure Boot needs UEFI.
2. Enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module):
- In the BIOS, find
Boot
Menu.
- Disable CSM
if it’s enabled.
3. Set Secure Boot Keys:
- Go back to the Security
tab.
- Select Secure Boot Control
and set it to Enabled
.
- Choose Key Management
and install default Secure Boot keys if needed (often labeled “Install Default Secure Boot Keys”).
If Secure Boot is still greyed out:
1. Save and Exit BIOS.
2. Enter BIOS Again after the reboot.
3. Check Secure Boot Again, it should now be available to enable.
