alternatives to Hoka Tor Summit
Padded type comfy shoes with a classic hiker look, some rubber type treaded sole so I can step in puddles. Chunky and roomy as possible.
The Hokas are cool but I feel like they’re just short of great.
Welcome to suggestions at any price point.

I'm guessing you want something more hiker-y than XT6s. Maybe something from Keen?
I have a pair of these: https://obozfootwear.com/en-us/product/mens-bozeman-low-leather I like them for functionality, but I think they look a bit generic.
Oboz Footwear
Oboz Men's Bozeman Low Leather Casual Shoe
The Oboz Bozeman Low Leather is ready to take on a lunch time hike on the Highland Glen Trail or any last-minute errands around town. The Bozeman Low Leather has classic mountain-town good looks and a construction that provides all-day comfort and performance.
Danner also gets mentioned a lot for classic hiking boots.
My wife has a pair of Oboz that she loves, I’ll check what they’ve got. Looking for something that has that “classic” hiker look with the metal hook/loop eyelets if possible. Thanks for the recs
There's the Merrel 1TRL Ontario: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/ontario-sp-lace-1trl-x-belstaff/59202M.html
And they also make these but they are a bit less sneakery: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/wilderness-1trl/58343M.html
I also like the Moab Mesa Luxe but it doesn't have full eyelets: https://www.merrell.com/US/en/moab-mesa-luxe-1trl/56665W.html
Salomon has the XT-Quest2 which are a similarish to the Moabs: https://www.salomon.com/en-us/shop/product/xt-quest-2-li4196.html#color=81988
ROA also came to mind but after checking it seems like they actual don't offer much that has a classic look
These look like the best match so far, thanks!
And yeah I did come across roa - nothing quite right though I do really like their loafer
Yeah the loafers are very cool but pricey
So spendy 😭
