Am Going To a Tailer But Are These Too Big?
They are for sure too big around my waist I’m probably a 31 but bought 32. Should I go get a smaller size before taking them to a tailor ?

Imo the fit looks nice to me. Why not have it altered at the waist instead?

Or they’ll shrink in the wash too
- numbered pants sizing is usually inconsistent between brands, go by the actual measurements

- length is fine but if you wanna hem them hem them
I found when I wore a belt it twisted the pants do you know what I mean?
Can I tailor do that? I’ve never been to one before

some people like pants that stack/pool on top of their shoes, some like a full or partial break, and some like none or even a cropped fit

Depends on the tailor's expertise but generally, yes!
if you have the means to return them, try on, and then buy a 31 easily then i would do that and save the extra trouble
otherwise imo the waist is fine especially if you wear a belt
