ping is high in the area I live in
I live in a country right next to Singapore, meaning I'd usually get 20-25 ping in singapore servers
however today out of nowhere I started lagging like crazy where it remained at 100-200 ping CONSTANT and wouldn't go down even after I resetted my computer AND valorant
Then I checked my ping in the ping section
everything was red (100ms+) except HONG KONG?!!
I have 50 ping in Hong Kong
I DO NOT LIVE IN HONG KONG

High ping can be caused by various issues, often related to network routing changes, ISP problems, or temporary server issues. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
1. Restart your modem/router: Sometimes, a simple power cycle can resolve routing issues.
2. Check your internet connection: Run a speed test to ensure your internet is performing as expected.
3. Close background applications: Ensure no other applications are consuming bandwidth.
4. Use a wired connection: If you're on Wi-Fi, switching to a wired Ethernet connection can improve stability.
5. Change DNS settings: Try using Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare's DNS (1.1.1.1).
If the problem persists, it may be related to your ISP's routing to specific servers. Contacting your ISP to see if they are aware of any issues or maintenance in your area can be helpful. Additionally, you can always check Riot's server status here: Riot Games Service Status.
