HDD not supported
Does Valorant not support hdd anymore?
I’m playing in a old gaming laptop but ran valorant smoothly for a few years up until now
I’ve tried play a match after half a year of not playing cause I couldn’t load into the match until like round 3 but now I can’t load into the match at all I’ve gotten to the agent select but can’t get into the loading screen of the match and whenever I restart my pc and load back on I’m just stuck on the games loading screen.
Is there any solution to playing on a HDD without upgrading to a SSD cause i play on laptop.

VALORANT does still support HDD, but the game has evolved and certain updates may have increased load times, which could be causing the issues you’re experiencing. Here are a few tips that might help:
1. Optimize HDD: Run a disk cleanup and defragment your disk.
2. Game Settings: Lower your in-game graphics settings to minimize the load on your system.
3. Update Drivers: Make sure all your drivers, especially GPU, are updated.
4. Close Background Apps: Ensure no unnecessary applications are running in the background.
5. Reinstall VALORANT: Sometimes a clean install can resolve loading issues.
If these steps don't help, SSDs significantly improve load times and overall system performance and might be worth considering in the long run.
