It sounds like you're encountering a VAN9006 error related to TPM and Secure Boot. Here's a step-by-step guide to ensure TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are properly set up:
1. Check BIOS/UEFI settings:
- Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing F2, F10, DEL, or ESC during boot).
- Look for TPM settings. Ensure TPM 2.0 is enabled.
- Find Secure Boot settings and make sure it's enabled.
2. Verify Windows configuration:
- Type
tpm.msc
in the Start Menu search bar and press Enter. Check if it shows "The TPM is ready for use."
- Run msinfo32
in the Start Menu search bar to confirm if Secure Boot State is “On”.
3. Update BIOS/UEFI:
- Ensure your BIOS/UEFI firmware is up-to-date by checking Dell's support site for the latest updates.
4. Reinstall Riot Vanguard and VALORANT:
- Uninstall Riot Vanguard and VALORANT completely.
- Reboot your PC.
- Reinstall both from the official sources.
If you follow all these steps and the issue persists, I recommend submitting a ticket on the Riot Games support page for more specialized help.
