if you're answering to wear, yes; the pendleton wool shirts are super warm
if you're answering as an investment in something, yes; assuming they didn't lift the tag from something else that's 60s era pendleton
as for the stain, no clue; you can try to spot clean it (use a water-baking soda or water-mild soap mix, blot the stain, blot with damp cloth and air dry)
Well yeah I mainly meant style wise haha
And also like practical stuff with the stain and if it's likely to be too scratchy
it's a solid classic style and is fairly comfortable next to skin, can get kinda warm if worn with thick layers

I’d pull the trigger. If you can’t get the stain out, a fun patch or some embroidery would cover it
