I was gold 3 plat peak last act but after the rank reset i got gold and have been playing with mostly diamonds is it because of my mmr?

Its because of the rank reset

got like bronze and silver
if you were gold3 last act, you will now probably be silver.
the dia players are in your current lobby because they will be around gold to plat if they get a rank
