This issue where the audio cuts out after opening VALORANT could be related to audio driver conflicts or settings within the game. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this: 1. Update Audio Drivers: Ensure your audio drivers are up to date. Check your sound driver's manufacturer website for the latest version and install it. 2. Check In-Game Settings: In VALORANT, go to Settings > Audio > Device Settings and make sure the correct output device is selected. 3. Set Default Audio Device: In Windows, right-click the sound icon in the taskbar, select Sounds, go to the Playback tab, and set your preferred device as the default. 4. Disable Audio Enhancements: In the same Playback tab, right-click your default device, select Properties > Enhancements, and check Disable all enhancements. 5. Discord and Other Apps: If you're using apps like Discord, make sure their audio settings aren’t conflicting with VALORANT. 6. Repair VALORANT: Open the Riot Client, navigate to VALORANT, and use the Repair option to fix any corrupted files. If the issue persists, consider reinstalling VALORANT or reaching out to Riot Support for further assistance.
