Screen sometimes freezes while playing

I don't know why but recently out of nowhere I've been getting screen freezes whenever I'm in Valorant and the game doesn't look as smooth as it was a couple days ago, I don't really have fps issues, I run between 120-200 fps in game on highest graphics and when the screen freezes I don't see any fps drops either. The screen freezes for less than a second but its really annoying and got me killed a couple times

Screen freezes like the ones you're experiencing, especially when there are no FPS drops, can be caused by various factors including software conflicts, outdated graphics drivers, or even overheating issues. Below are some steps you can try to resolve the issue: 1. Update your Graphics Drivers: Ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Visit the official website for your graphics card (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) and download the latest drivers for your specific model. 2. Check Background Applications: Make sure there are no resource-intensive applications running in the background. Applications like OBS, Discord overlays, or even some antivirus software can sometimes cause conflicts. 3. Lower In-Game Settings: Even if your system can handle high settings, sometimes lowering certain options like "Shadows," "Effects," or "Post-Processing" can help stabilize performance. 4. Verify Game Files: On the Riot Client, use the "Repair" option to verify and fix any corrupted files. 5. Monitor Temperature: Check that your CPU and GPU aren't overheating. If they are, make sure your cooling solutions (fans, thermal paste) are working properly. 6. Windows Updates: Ensure your Windows OS is fully updated. 7. Disable Overlays: Turn off any in-game overlays from applications like Discord or NVIDIA GeForce Experience. If none of these steps resolve the issue, consider submitting a ticket to Riot Support with details of your problem: Submit a Ticket.
