Amazon Essentials sizing - help a girl out so she can spoil her man!
Hi everyone, I'm a girl and my boyfriend's birthday is coming up. I'll already spoil him lots on our upcoming trip, but I'm also looking into getting him some new clothes! He dresses okay, but he's not too into fashion and has mentioned he would like to have a more defined style, and I want to help him with that :blushcatto:
I can tell that he desperately needs a new pair of pants. He wears Amazon Essential pants, I'm pretty sure it's the Amazon Essentials Men's Standard Straight-fit 5-Pocket Stretch Twill Pant. I looked at the tag on his pants, but I'm super confused about the sizing. I tried looking it up, but am still confused. Can anyone shed a light on how Amazon catalogs its sizes so I can use it as reference for his gift? I want it to be a surprise, so I can't just ask him. Any help would be appreciated! Ah, I knew I was forgetting something :cryingsalute: it's 34W X 31L.
34 is gonna be the waist, and 31 inseam
That's standard sizing
most pants you find will have these mesurments listed somewhere
If you can measure the waist of a pair of his pants that might be even more useful

If you can get a tape measure @Kali ~ Clara ꒰˘⤙˘꒱❀ Lay the pants flat and measure the waist across, then double it. That’s his ACTUAL waist size. A lot of men’s clothes do vanity sizing (women’s clothes do as well) where the size listed doesn’t necessarily match the actual measurements
And I cannot imagine that amazon sizing is consistent
Use this for reference
also for reference the length is measured from middle of the crotch to the end of the leg. Sometimes called inseam measurement. Typically they go 30" for small, 32" for regular and 34" for long.
Beware that brands lie about waist measurements

yeah flat measurements in inches will be more accurate than a "size 34" pant
