Cant open valorant after recent update
Hi guys, after the most recent update I'm not able to play the game. Riot client and Vanguard are active; it opens the game and then goes to a non-responsive state (task manager: not responding). Any ideas as to why?
If anyone else had similar problems and was able to fix them, I'm open to anything!

This issue might stem from several causes, including corrupted files, third-party software interference, or firewall issues. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:
1. Restart the Riot Client and VALORANT – Often a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches.
2. Update Your Graphics Drivers – Make sure your GPU drivers are up-to-date as outdated drivers can cause crashes.
3. Run as Administrator – Try running both the Riot Client and VALORANT as an administrator.
4. Check Firewall and Antivirus Settings – Ensure VALORANT is allowed through your firewall and that your antivirus isn't blocking it. You can follow the instructions here.
5. Reinstall Riot Vanguard – Uninstall and then reinstall Riot Vanguard.
6. Clean Boot – Perform a clean boot to check if any background applications are causing conflicts. Instructions can be found here.
7. Repair VALORANT – Use the Riot Client to verify and repair game files.
If none of these steps work, consider submitting a support ticket to Riot Games for additional assistance.
